The Loft - This penthouse is known for its incredible views and industrial atmosphere. The Loft is part of the A'DAM tower, the iconic tower behind the Central Station that many Amsterdammers immediately recognize. Opened in 2016, it has hosted many types of events - from product presentations to techno parties and from business dinners to private events. The Loft can host events with up to 600 people.
The Aquarium - We can't name many things cooler than to have an event in an actual aquarium. Artis Zoo provides this opportunity, by opening up their indoor aquarium for business- and private events. This venue can host up to 600 people and will leave your guests in awe.
The National Maritime Museum - This museum is a well-known location for events with larger crowds, as the main area 'Het Open Pleyn' - pictured above - can host up to a 1.000 people. The venue has three other areas available which are more suitable for smaller groups. Outside of the museum there is one of the VOC's ancient boats that went on an expedition in 1749 put on display. When you are at the Central Station, this massive boat cannot be missed.
The Ocean Diva - If fixed locations don't float your boat, The Ocean Diva might be your venue. The Ocean Diva corporation offers two different types of boats to choose from: Their modern boat 'The Futura' and their more traditional 'The Original'. The boats are large in size, as they offer place up to 1.500 people. As their boats can actually sail out too, you can rent out one of the Ocean Diva's boats not only in The Netherlands, but also in Germany and Belgium.
The Posthoorn Church - The Posthoorn Church is located right next to Central Station and can - just like the Maritime Museum - not be missed, as the top towers of the church are an impressive 47 meters high. Designed by P.J.H. Cuypers - who also designed the Central Station and the Rijksmuseum, the venue is an impressive setting for for instance a dinner as pictured above. As of today, the church is no longer in use for religious services, but only used for events and as office space.
